Lord Vishnu is said to be the creator of the world and the manager of destiny. He can be seen sitting on the many-headed snake who is said to be the ‘ Kalswarup Sheshnag – The king of snakes’. He has a smiling and calm face with a lot of intelligence in his eyes. He is also said to be the kindest God, who immediately fulfills the wishes of his ardent devotees. Keeping in mind his kindness and blessings on us, here is the day on which we should for sure pray Lord Vishnu. The effects will be immediate and fruitful. That day is none other than  Devshayani Ekadashi . The day he wakes up is known as Prabodhini Ekadashi. The Grand Fight Between Lord Jagannath And Laxmi

Lord Jagannath keeps on grabbing the attention of his devotees from the beginning till the end of the rituals, of the car festival in  Puri Jagannath Temple . But, the most interesting and weird among all these days does shift the eyeballs and bhakti of the devotees from  God Jagannath  to Maha Laxmi. Now how is that interesting? ‘Hera’ means to ‘see’ and ‘Panchami’ means the ‘fifth day’. It is celebrated at Gundicha temple on the fifth day from the start date of the Car festival. This festival is dedicated to Goddess Mahalaxm i and is also known as a ritual of Goddess Mahalaxmi. Lord Jagannath along with his siblings leaves for a vacation to his aunt’s place and his consort Mahalaxmi is left behind in the main temple.
