In the temple, the shrine has the idols of Lord Jagannath, Maa Subhadra (sister or Lord Jagannath), Lord Balbhadra (brother of Lord Jagannath) and Sudarshan Chakra along with the Chariot installed here .The Car Festival, the famous Puri Rath Yatra is also held here along with the chariot having Lord Jagannath's idol is taken on a journey of a few kilometers and then proceeded back to the shrine in the month of June.
