A five-day-long International Shimla summer festival is managed by the District Administration of Himachal Pradesh every year in the month of May /June from last 60 years. This stupendous Summer Gala with amazing fairs and festivals is being organized annually for 5-6 days to attract thousands of wanderers during the summer season. It is observed in Shimla- Queen of Hills since 1960 and well-attended by eminent celebrities.
